17th Annual Wine Tasting Event

With the help of Standard Beverage in Wichita and Chlumsky Liquormart in Great Bend, the Annual Catholic Charities Wine Tasting Event features award-winning wines from local Kansas vintners, a new selection of wines from around the world, and friendly connoisseurs to answer wine-related questions. The event also features live entertainment by classical guitarist, Richard J Falcon Jr, live and silent auctions throughout the evening, and many other games and prizes. A block of rooms have been reserved for out-of-town guests who call the Best Western Angus Inn before April 6th. The wine tasting event is the major annual fundraiser for Catholic Charities with proceeds helping those in need, regardless of their faith. Services include free pregnancy counseling, teen mom support, and adoption services; life-skills classes and economic assistance; mental health, addiction and recovery counseling, and disaster relief.
