Craft Beer Festival in Ellinwood

For beer connoisseurs and for people who just like sampling ale to stout regional beer, the Ellinwood American Legion will hold its third annual Craft Beer Fair in Legion Park of Ellinwood, Kansas from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, October 18th. There will be light to dark beer with 15 different small batch seasonal brews for tasting, and a special German Kolsch style brew in tribute to Mayor Frank Koelsch, a Vietnam veteran.

For a $25 donation, attendees can enjoy unlimited sampling and viewing of art at the new Sentinel Gallery just south of the park. Also, beer fans can enjoy brats, sauerkraut, homemade pretzels and a regional favorite bierrocks, which will also be for sale. Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warriors project and local American Legions vets.
