Glow for Life - Suicide Prevention & Awareness Run
The 3rd Annual "Golden Belt Glow for Life" event will be held Saturday, September 12th at Veterans Memorial Park in Great Bend, Kansas. The Suicide Prevention & Awareness event will include a Remembrance Ceremony, a 5K Glow Run, and a Remembrance Glow Walk at sunset and is presented by the Central Kansas Partnership Suicide Prevention Task Force. The event will be held at the large shelter on the west side of Vet’s Lake.

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Refreshments available for all participants.
Pre-registration is $25 per person before September 4th. Pre-registration guarantees a t-shirt, glow accessories, and snacks. Checks are payable to "Suicide Prevention Task Force" and can be mailed to Golden Belt Glow for Life, c/o The Center for Counseling, 5815 Broadway, Great Bend, KS 67530.
Late registration is $25 per person at the event. Late registrations are not guaranteed a t-shirt or glow accessories.
The mission of the Golden Belt Run for Life is to raise awareness of suicide prevention and provide for community suicide prevention education by providing a quality walking and running event in memory of those we have lost and in honor of their family and friends. Proceeds will be used to sponsor community suicide prevention education.
