Rolling Sculpture Car Show

The Barton County Historical Society will host a special Rolling Sculpture Car Show on Saturday, October 11th from 12-4 p.m. at the Village, located just south of the Arkansas river bridge on 281 Highway.

“THE 3rd ANNUAL ROLLING SCULPTURE CAR SHOW” welcomes classic vehicle owners and enthusiasts to the Barton County Historical Society Village. Registration opens at 10 a.m. with the show open to the public from 12-4 p.m. Car Clubs and individual are invited to register for this free event; early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. Every car entrant will receive a ticket for a prize drawing.

The Rolling Sculpture Car Show offers participants, car enthusiasts, and visitors the opportunity to experience exotic, antique, and classic cars nestled among the Village’s historic structures, including the 1950 Lustron Home. Explore the displays of the sixty years of drag racing in Central Kansas, including photographs, memorabilia, and stories of this American Pastime. Learn about the Sunflower Rod & Custom Association’s efforts to be the first drag strip in the United States to be recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Lunch will be available for purchase. 

NO ADMISSION CHARGED AT THIS OPEN HOUSE.
