SUMMARY:100+ People Who Care Giving Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for on Tuesday\, May 10th at the Best Western Angus Inn Courtyard for the next giving meeting for 100+ People Who Care: Barton County! Doors open at 5 p.m. for networking and check-in. Feel free to bring a soda or cold adult beverage if you'd like! The meeting will get started promptly at 5:30 p.m. and will conclude in one hour or less.\n\nNew members are always welcome to get involved! Last quarter\, you guys showed up in a BIG way\, raising almost $11\,000 for Core Ministries! This quarter\, we'd love to see that momentum continue! The charities nominated during last quarter's meeting will present for 5 minutes to tell us about their needs and then members will vote to select a winner.\n\n----------------------------------------\n\nCHARITIES/PROJECTS PRESENTING:\n\n----------------------------------------\n\nEllinwood Hospital Foundation\n\nCatholic Charities\n\nMeals on Wheels\n\n--------------------------------------\n\nABOUT 100+ PEOPLE WHO CARE:\n\n--------------------------------------\n\nThe 100+ People Who Care group was launched in 2017 and has since raised over $160\,000 for deserving local charities with zero fundraising efforts. Members of the group pledge to donate $100 per quarter to whichever charity is voted the winner after hearing three 5-minute presentations from organizations nominated at the previous meeting. At the end of each meeting\, a winner is announced and checks are made out directly to their charity\, bringing in approximately $10\,000 in under an hour. Because the group operates entirely with volunteers\, and the checks are written directly to the 501(c)3 organization\, there are no administrative expenses that take away from the nonprofit organization's donations. Whichever charity wins the majority vote earns 100% of the tax-deductible gifts.\n\n-----------------------------\n\nHOW TO GET INVOLVED:\n\n-----------------------------\n\nThere are no fees to join\, other than the commitment that members will attend four times per year and donate $100 at each meeting\, or send their donation after the meeting if they are unable to attend. Once you join\, we will NOT share your information or solicit you for anything else. You will only receive meeting reminders for our quarterly giving meetings on the 2nd Tuesdays of February\, May\, August\, and November. Join on our website at www.100bartoncounty.org\, or make plans to attend the next event.\n\n------------------\n\nOUR MISSION:\n\n------------------\n\nBringing community people together to make an immediate impact on local nonprofit organizations - and having fun doing it!
