DESCRIPTION:You're Invited   Building Bridges Inaugural Event Scheduled for February 20th \n\n\n\nThe Great Bend Chamber\, in partnership with Kansas WorkforceONE and GBHS\, would like to introduce you to the 1st Annual Building Bridges   Great Bend! Scheduled for Tuesday\, February 20th at 6pm\, at Great Bend High School. This is an event that has been presented in numerous communities across our area to bring Business/Industry\, Economic Development\, Workforce Development and Education together. This program is proven to help identify what schools should be teaching the students in effort to prepare them to be a viable part of our workforce.\n\n\n\nHere's where we need YOUR help - the event is only successful if business leaders like you attend and provide this valuable feedback to Great Bend High School. This event is open to all professionals working in the area\; it is not limited business owners or HR managers. \n\n\n\nAgenda for the Event:\n\n6PM - Networking & Appetizers in the Commons Area\n\n6:30 PM - Opening Introductions & Presentation\n\n7:00 PM - Breakout Sessions with CTE Instructors\n\n\n\nDiscussion Topics:\n\n	What soft skills and technical skills are necessary for students to be college and career ready?\n	How do we give students hands-on experience in your field of expertise?
