SUMMARY:Community Fireworks Display
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Independence Day on July 4\, 2015\, the City of Great Bend - along with Sunflower Diversified Services and many other sponsors - will host a Community Fireworks Display at the Great Bend Expo Complex. Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. The show is choreographed to music\, and will begin at dusk. Eagle Radio will begin a live broadcast on 100.7 FM at 9:30 p.m. Sunset will take place at approximately 9 p.m.\, and the show will begin as soon as it is dark enough (between 9:45 and 10 p.m.). Spectators are asked to park at the Expo Grounds to watch the display. Viewers can watch their show from their vehicles or stretch out on a blanket or in lawn chairs.\n\n\n\nDonations are currently being solicited to help fund this Community Fireworks Display (no taxpayer dollars are used to pay for the show). Sunflower Diversified Services encourages businesses and individuals to help light up the sky on the Fourth of July!
