DESCRIPTION:Meet the 2019 Great Bend Bats Cats during this pulled pork fundraiser\, hosted by the Knights of Columbus at 723 Main St. on Thursday\, May 30th from 5 - 9PM. Enjoy free beer from 5-6PM with Dinner being served at 6PM. At 7PM the Bat Cats lineup will be introduced followed by 2 special guest speakers.\n\n\n\nGuest Speakers\n\nFormer Major Leaguers Marc Kroon and Steve Edlefsen will speak to the crowd and stay for autographs. Kroon played college baseball with Barton Community College and University of Nebraska\, was the 2007 16th Round Pick for the Giants and a 2012 World Series Winner. Edlefsen's baseball career began with Shadow Mt. High School in Phoenix\, AZ and was drafted as 2nd Round Pick in 1991 with the Mets. His career spanned 21 years.\n\n\n\nOther Events for the evening include:\n\n50/50 Raffle (winner announced at 8PM)\n\nSilent Auction (Sports memorabilia\, Trips\, Colbert Hill Golfing\, and more!)\n\n\n\nPlates are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
