DESCRIPTION:COMMUNITY CONCERT CAMPAIGN BOASTS SEVEN SHOWS IN 85TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON\n\nIn its 2023-2024 season\, the Golden Belt Community Concert Association will mark its 85th year of providing live\, high-quality\, affordable musical entertainment for the people of the Golden Belt.\n\nGiving a celebratory note to this anniversary season\, the association is offering seven concerts for 2023-2024   one more show than the previous season yet with the same membership fee of $50 per adult. The membership campaign for the new season began April 18 and will continue through May 12.\n\nAnyone who is not a member and purchases a membership for the 2023-2024 season by April 22 (the date of this season's final concert) will be able to attend that concert\, Beginnings\, ultimate Chicago tribute band\, as a BONUS CONCERT. New memberships can be purchased at the door of that concert or online at goldenbeltcca.org (bring your emailed receipt to the concert).\n\nThe seven concerts with the theme Music Through the Decades will offer a variety of music from the 1940s through 2020 that will keep members excited and looking forward to each new show. The 2023-2024 shows will include:\n\nPhat Cat Swinger\n\nSaturday\, Sept. 16\, 2023\n\nHollywood's Hottest Little Big Band presents USO dance music from the 1940s with a mix of standards and Disney classics. Nine performers on stage present re-imagined arrangements from the music of timeless eras   Sinatra to Bubl    with rock-star energy.\n\nBranden & James\, with guest Effie Passero\n\nTuesday\, Sept. 26\, 2023\n\nA mixture of rock\, country and Broadway performed by Branden James\, a finalist from America's Got Talent\, and powerhouse cellist James Clark with dazzling tenor vocals and soaring cello accompaniment\, plus guest singer/songwriter Effie Passero of American Idol fame.\n\nHere Comes the Sun\n\nTuesday\, Oct. 10\, 2023\n\nCelebrating the Beatles with a fresh\, vibrant\, and musically authentic act. Five multi-instrumentalists/vocalists (Broadway\, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) combine talents to re-create a decade of Beatles soundscapes.\n\nJason Lyle Black\n\nSaturday\, Nov. 4\, 2023\n\nOne hundred hits from screen to stage including musicals\, movies\, and classical hits from movies. An award-winning piano entertainer whose clever arrangements\, fun stories and onstage charm takes audiences on a journey through numerous musical styles. Black has the ability to play as easily sitting backward as forward\, performing music from Disney to Broadway.\n\nDivas 3\n\nSaturday\, March 2\, 2024\n\nFour decades of the "greatest hits by the greatest divas." Three female singers with powerhouse voices sing the biggest hits of the greatest divas in music history from the 1960s through the 1990s by such greats as Aretha Franklin\, Carole King\, Celine Dion\, Whitney Houston\, Dolly Parton and more   with an enticing mix of glamour\, class and goosebump-inducing vocals.\n\nAbbacadabra - ABBA Tribute\n\nMonday\, April 8\, 2024\n\nTake a chance on a step back in time with the music of ABBA. These performers are helping the music of ABBA find its way back into the hearts of those who lived it and loved it\, and are giving the gift of ABBA's music to those hearing it for the first time.\n\n7\,000 Miles to Broadway   J. Robert Spencer\n\nFriday\, May 3\, 2024\n\nMusic across genres and decades\, all leading to Broadway. J. Robert Spencer takes his audiences on the journey he took to achieve his goal of making it on Broadway.
