DESCRIPTION:This band brings the "grit and the grandeur of the American spirit" to life with its varied repertoire: Copland's "Appalachian Spring\," Cash's "I've Been Everywhere\," Gershwin's "An American in Paris\," traditional "Orange Blossom Special" and more. Annie Wolaver Dupre (lead singer/violinist) and her siblings\, Alex (viola) and Benjamin (cello)\, along with their father\, award-winning composer/arranger/pianist Bill Wolaver\, formed the Annie Moses Band in 2001\, named for their great grandmother. Each Juilliard-educated\, the trio began touring the United States\, performing a 33-concert run in their second year. Over the years\, the group has expanded to include six siblings.
