DESCRIPTION:Visit Heartland Farm for our annual Open Farm Day! Come out and walk an alpaca\, do a craft\, try to spin some yarn\, have refreshments\, and take a tour of the trails and revamped labyrinth. Trail walks are at 11\, 1\, and 2:00. All other activities are come and go. Heartland Farm is an easy 13 miles west of Great Bend. From the 4-way stop at 10th and Patton (where Highway 56 turns south)\, drive westward for 13 miles on W Barton County Road. When the pavement ends\, continue west for another mile. Turn left at CR 390 (look for our sign) and continue for 1/2 mile. Heartland Farm will be the first driveway on the right side. For directions from locations other than Great Bend\, please visit heartlandfarm-ks.org/directions/.
