DESCRIPTION:The next "Gifts from the Garden" adult class\, "Impressive Pressed Flowers"\, provides old and new methods of pressing flowers. Held at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center\, July 16\, from 2 to 4 p.m.\, the class is offered at no charge.\n\nParticipants will roam KWEC's garden and prairie to gather and press their own flowers\, utilizing the tried-and-true method and a newer\, faster method. Using previously pressed flowers\, they'll create a pressed flower card/picture and learn how to decorate candles with flowers. Register by July 10\, by calling KWEC at 877-243-9268.
