DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the start of a new academic year and new leadership\, Barton Community College will host a 'Meet the President' event from 4:30-6 p.m. Aug. 28 at Dry Lake Brewing in Great Bend. Attendees will receive 1 free drink voucher sponsored by the Barton Foundation. This will be the first stop in a series of similar events across Barton County and the College's service area.\n\n\n\nThe event will allow community members\, local leaders\, and alumni to meet and engage with Barton President Dr. Marcus Garstecki. The setting will allow for open discussion with brief comments from the president at 5:30 p.m. "I look forward to engaging with our community in a relaxed and informal setting\," he said.
