SUMMARY:Relay for Life 5K Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Relay for Life teams from Heartland Cancer Center and Great Bend Regional Hospital are working together to organize a 5K Run/Walk for Saturday\, April 29\, 2017 to benefit Relay for Life\, which supports the American Cancer Society. \n\n\n\nThe professionally timed race event will start and finish at Veterans Memorial Park in Great Bend. Registration opens at 7 a.m.\, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Medals will be awarded in six age groups\, with prizes for the top male and female finishers overall. Registration is $25 before April 15th\, which includes an event t-shirt. After April 15th\, registration increases to $35 per person with t-shirt sizes not guaranteed. Walk-in registration will also be available on the day of the race.\n\n\n\nAfter the runners are back at the finish line\, there will be a free breakfast served to all runners and concessions available for non-racers\, with all proceeds benefiting the Relay for Life fundraiser.\n\n\n\nLearn more by joining the event on Facebook!
