DESCRIPTION:The Barton County Historical Society Marla Matkin to our Ray Schulz Memorial Library on Monday\, October 23th at 7pm. Marla is native Kansan descended from homesteaders\, a former teacher\, and utilizes her love of history and theater to entertain and inform audiences about the women of the Santa Fe Trail. She has made multiple appearances at Fort Larned historical site and has authored two children's books\, "Custer's Mouse" and "A Dragon's Tale." Admission is free for members of the society and $5 for individuals over 16 wishing to attend the program
