6th Annual Golden Belt Glow 4 Life 5k/1mi Walk provided by Suicide Prevention Task Force of Central KS Partnership.

Glow  for Life - Suicide Prevention & Awareness Run
The 6th Annual "Golden Belt Glow for Life" event will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Great Bend, Kansas. The Suicide Prevention & Awareness event will include a Remembrance Ceremony with a, a 5K Glow Run, and a Remembrance Glow Walk at sunset and is presented by the Central Kansas Partnership Suicide Prevention Task Force.  The event will be held at the large shelter on the west side of Vet’s Lake.

6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Event Late Registration
6:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Event Check-In
7:00 p.m. Family & Friends Remembrance Ceremony (Approx 30 min)
7:30 p.m. Glow Run & Walk Warm-Up (Approx 15 min)
7:45 p.m. 5K Glow Run Begins
Followed by:
Remembrance Glow Walk around Vet’s Lake
Refreshments for all participants
Medals awarded for 5K Glow Run.

The mission of the Golden Belt Run for Life is to raise awareness of suicide prevention and provide for community suicide prevention education by providing a quality walking and running event in memory of those we have lost and in honor of their family and friends. Proceeds will be used to sponsor community suicide prevention education.
