Explore Great Bend: Small Business Saturday, Cookie Contest & Home for the Holidays Festival & Parade

Small Business Saturday is a celebration of our local favorites - the stores that make Great Bend a unique shopping destination! Make plans to shop local while enjoying the annual "Cookie Contest" where you can vote for your favorite treat! The days' activities will also include the Home for the Holidays Festival & Parade in downtown Great Bend at 5:30 pm followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting and Explore Great Bend drawings! 

This is also your LAST CHANCE to enter to win the $1,000 Explore Great Bend giveaway in particpating stores! 

More about the Cookie Contest...
The cookie contest will take place from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 24th at participating Great Bend Stores

• Tasters/shoppers are invited to begin and end their cookie quest at "Cookie Headquarters" (Rosewood Gallery, 1607 Main St.)
• In exchange for a suggested donation to the Barton County Food Bank, cookie tasters will receive a cookie bracelet.
• Tasters will be invited to enjoy a sample and receive a door prize ticket at each participating business!
• At the end of your journey (by 4 p.m.), return to Cookie Headquarters to cast your "best cookie" vote and sumbit your door prize tickets! 
• The door prize drawings will take place at Jack Kilby Square at approximately 6:30 p.m. following the Home for the Holidays Parade. Must be present to win.
