Fundraising Seminar
Non-profits are almost always understaffed and under-compensated, but the work you do is critically important. With more events happening and people’s lives getting busier and busier all the time, your fundraiser has to stand out if it’s going to be successful for years to come. Local marketing consultant, Rachel Mawhirter with Marketing Maven will be presenting an informative seminar on Wednesday, August 7th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. targeted to non-profit professionals and volunteers who are responsible for fundraising.
Technology makes so many new tools available, but it also makes more work because online registration and social media marketing are no longer “optional” for successful fundraising events. So how do you know where to get started? In two hours, you will walk away with a better understanding of:
• How to sell your mission and increase donor engagement
• Options available for setting up online registration and ticketing for your events
• What it means to adequately promote your fundraising event on social media We will also touch on sponsorship sales and deliverables, and how to get creative when pitching a donor for their hard earned money.
Each seminar is limited to 30 participants, so be sure to sign up early. Refreshments will be provided, along with easy-to-use note sheets you can use as cheat sheets in the weeks to come! Cost to attend is just $89 per person, with members of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development having special access to a 50% off coupon code (contact the Chamber to request the money-saving offer).
Registration is due on or before August 1st. Sign up at www.marketingmavenconsulting.com/events or contact Mawhirter at 620-222-0105 to register.
