KWEC Perseid Meteor Shower

Our annual end of summer, spaced-themed event encourages visitors to look to the sky on Friday August 12. As Earth passes through the path of the Swift-Tuttle Comet each year, the debris will light up the sky. This FREE, family friendly event will start at 8:30pm with crafts, experiments, and games. Visitors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy smore’s while they kick back and scan the night sky once it is dark. For more information, call the KWEC at 1-877-243-9268.
