Sowing Light

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, Heartland Center for Spirituality (3600 Broadway Great Bend, KS) will host "Sowing Light," a retreat led by Fr. Bob Schremmer. During this inspiring retreat, Fr. Schremmer will invite participants into a contemplative encounter with The Sower, a painting that vibrates with movement, color, and spiritual longing. Through the image of a lone figure casting seed across a field bathed in golden light, participants will discover how God is already at work in the hidden places of their lives and how they are called to sow that grace in the world. The retreat will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $40, which includes lunch.
