About Us
The Unified School District 428 Education Foundation provides an ideal opportunity for alumni, parents, community businesses, and other supporters of the schools to make good things happen in education. The foundation’s bylaws affirm a commitment to “direct resources toward areas of identified need.” Many students benefit academically from the project awards. Since its inception in 1989, the Education Foundation has funded many worthwhile projects through its mini-grants. The foundation gratefully receives tax-deductible contributions from individuals, businesses, community service organizations, alumni, estates, memorials, and other benevolent sources. Programs funded by the Education Foundation today provide a positive impact on the leaders of tomorrow.
The USD 428 Education Foundation is operated by a Board of Trustees comprised of community members, USD 428 educators, and USD 428 administrators.
